Halloween - 2005
Halloween Party Night 2 was again held at Monks Sports Club, whom we would like to thank again for their continued support.
The night was full of fun and things that go bump in the night! Activities throughout the evening included: Apple bobbing, wrap your Mummy (a particular favourite with the children), stand up bingo, raffle and a fancy dress competition with prizes for the best costume for the adults as well as children. A lot of time and effort must have gone into the costumes, making judging a lot harder this year.
Thanks to everybody in fancy dress for making the night complete. Food was available throughout the evening, although it was the brave who ventured near the Haunted Hot Pot, Bloodhound Cheese Burgers, Human Hot Dogs and Spooky Spider Cakes!
The haunting sounds provided by P&N Disco & Karaoke throughout the evening helped to make the night a great success for all who attended, fun and laughter being the order of the day. A small firework display ended the evening, helping to keep the smiles on the faces of everybody as they left.
Thanks to everybody who turned up on the night, you make it all worthwhile! Thanks also to J-U-M-P’s Entertainment Committee for their organisation and making time to decorate the room and to everybody who helped during the evening, making sure everything ran smoothly.
We look forward to Halloween Party Night 3…

Halloween - 2007
Once again, an amazing event with everybody having fun all evening.
The atmosphere was enhanced by our most adventurous room decorating exploits to date, thanks to the volunteers who have to put up with me barking orders all afternoon! Spooky wasn't the word! I'm still having nightmares of hanging skeletons!
The usual mix of halloween themed music (provided by our ever present DJ Stan) and party games kept everybody entertained all night. Note to all, we must explain the rules of the corners game more clearly if we do it again. It was turning into a marathon!
Thanks to Dave and Josh for their sterling efforts on the BBQ (Dave, you are the masterchef at cooking in complete darkness!) Finally, I'd like to thank everybody who turned up to support our event once again. Without you it makes things sort of impossible.
See you in 2008! Paul Corless
