Cabaret Evening

The evening of Sunday 18th June 2006 saw the perfect chance to relax, unwind and listen to some quality music after the hectic Fun Day. Monks Club arranged and staged this event in aid of J-U-M-P.

With the ever reliable Pete Rigby installed as DJ and Compere for the evening perform, the scene was set!

The two stars of the evening were Craig Williams and Tanya Marie, both of whom donated their time for free.

Craig performed the first set, belting out numbers ranging from the Rat Pack era to present day with Robbie Williams, working and playing with the audience all the way through.

Tanya Marie exploded into the second spot, eyes shut you could honestly believe it was the real Anastacia up on stage!. Everybody was up dancing as the gradual effects of alcohol loosened their legs and had them swinging their hips to beat! A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all (who didn't want to go home) and the lucky ones who stayed got to witness a faultless rendition of "Danny Boy" by the one and only Ivor Bostock, which was a perfect end to the evening.
